Łódź Young Fashion is an event co-created by the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and the City of Łódź, promoting young, promising fashion designers from around the world.

During the three editions of the event so far, the most spectacular fashion shows – the final galas of fashion contests – have been included in the Łódź Young Fashion programme: the Graduate Gala of the Institute of Fashion Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, the final of the National Contest "Złota Nitka" and the International Contest "Łódź Young Fashion Award". Every year the BRA Day Gala, numerous workshops, exhibitions and other accompanying events were also part of ŁYF.
